GNN: Mr. Tech, thank you for taking time to speak with us.

Anthony Tech: My pleasure.

GNN: Can you share with our readers what’s new with the A.W.F.?

AT: The American Wrestling Federation (A.W.F.) is currently running a two-tier operation. Tier one are matches that are used for training and are generally planned out ahead of time; very similar to TRW©(Totally Rigged Wrestling©) matches. Tier two matches are executed in the same manner as original rules A.W.F. matches. Nothing is scripted and only experienced competitors are permitted in the ring.

GNN: While we can guess at your response, we’d be remiss if we didn’t ask – who are the current champs in the A.W.F. right now…or at least share who the top wrestlers are?

AT: I am not at liberty to discuss our current champions. We have a few of the original A.W.F. members competing. We are also training up a new generation of wrestlers. The top A.W.F. competitor at this time is "C.D. Destroyer". However, with the return of "Mossad" back to the states, I think the competition will definitely intensify.

GNN: We have been noting that Tim Balderamos has been posting some “podcasts” regarding A.W.F. history and ownership, as well as posting rules, etc. on the A.W.F. website. What is your reaction?

AT: We expected Tim to do this. This is nothing new. He is regurgitating the same rhetoric that he has been espousing for the last twenty-plus years. As was stated in our email, "We understand that Mr. Balderamos will likely post his version of history and facts on the internet. So be it. Not everything posted on the internet is true. We will maintain our historical records based on actual events and decisions."

GNN: As has been the case before – you seem to take the stance that your group and Balderamos’ group are separate. Balderamos meanwhile stresses that they are one and the same. With so many thought-provoking points having been made by both sides, one might have a hard time determining who is right and who is wrong. What can you share with us that we haven’t yet heard that might shed additional light on this seemingly never-ending issue?

AT: There are or were American Wrestling Federations (or AWFs) of some form or another in Arizona, Florida, Illinois, Minnesota and Nevada to name a few. Ours is based in South Dakota. His is based in Minnesota. He does not (nor could he) claim any of those AWFs as his. Why should he be allowed to do the same to ours? His style and rules are markedly different than ours, much the same way WWE and WCW matches were different. The only reason he wants to claim ours is to erase his shameful behavior and give himself Title reigns that he did not earn while he was here.

GNN: Balderamos has noted his desire to “reach across the aisle,” and has extended an invitation to speak with you or another A.W.F. co-owner “live” in a future podcast to “just talk” about the issues – stressing that he doesn’t want any “ill will.” Are you or any other co-owner interested in attempting new talks with Balderamos? Why or why not?

AT: Our IT guy, Mark, has been listening to the podcasts and taking notes. He sent me his notes on the two podcasts trying to resolve some of the claims made and the inconsistencies within his (Tim's) own commentary. Mark also told me some of the soundboard clips were either inappropriate or intentionally inflammatory towards our A.W.F. and its members.

I told him that if he wanted to get Tim's side of the story that he should contact him directly, but I didn't want to know about it (mainly because I've heard it all before). Mark sent Tim an email back on July 3rd, but never received a response.

Keep in mind that these are Tim's issues. No other member has ever told us (the members of the A.W.F. Senior Board, past or present) that they felt Tim was being treated unfairly or that they felt there was a conspiracy against him. We are given the impression that Tim is still trying to persuade us on what happened back then.

So, in short, we are not interested in any new talks because it is the same story as before. And for someone who doesn't want any "ill-will", why is he using such acidic soundboard comments? An example: "What you just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things that I've ever heard. At no point in your rambling incoherent response were you even close to anything that can be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points and may God have mercy on your soul." This statement (used twice in the second podcast) is neither funny nor entertaining, and reveals to us, Tim's true intent.

GNN: If you had Balderamos standing right in front of you, right now, what would you say to him?

AT: My first instinct is to say, "I'm sorry." And I mean that very sincerely. I think that it is tragic that Tim has spent twenty-four years of his life trying to change the facts and history of the American Wrestling Federation to soothe his own ego. But we are the witnesses and the members of that history. We were there and we know what happened. Tim has sacrificed time, effort, energy, and friendships (and who knows what else) in a Pyrrhic attempt to rewrite our memories.

GNN: Back to wrestling. At the risk of a “no-comment,” can you attempt to describe a recent match and share with us the level of competition, the atmosphere, etc.? Can you paint us a picture of what it’s like to be in an A.W.F. ring today?

AT: Unfortunately, I cannot comment on any specific matches. I do enjoy working with the Tier one team and showing the difference between cosmetic and real moves. Tier two matches involve much more strategy and are not "entertaining", but they are competitive.

GNN: Your current modus operandi…is this intended to be indefinite, or could we look forward to actually seeing new A.W.F. matches in the future?

AT: We've really enjoyed the current style now. Perhaps, sometime in the future, we may start videotaping matches again. I wouldn't hold my breath, though. :)

GNN:  Mr, Tech of the A.W.F. - it's been a pleasure.  Best of luck to you!
